CBD isolate is a powder extracted from hemp that’s composed of only CBD, or cannabidiol – none of the other compounds found in hemp are in isolated CBD, making it different from full-spectrum CBD. While full-spectrum CBD contains up to 0.3% THC, CBD isolate has none.

Why’s that a good thing? Well, even though a product with under 0.3% THC won’t cause a high, is safe to consume, and is legal to sell, people who may get drug-tested worry that THC will show up in their system. With products made with CBD isolate, they don’t have to worry at all.
